Thank you aunt valerie!

Thank you so much for that email! I will try to figure out how to let people comment so keep on reading my blog!  I loved how you related which books I like and which books you like.  I also would love if anyone would give me reccomondations on what other books to read, I love science fiction and fantasy,so that would be awesome!  Thank you guys!

Yesterday at gymnastics I finally did a handstand!  although I also slammed the back of my head against the trampoline yesterday so I am crazy sore today but I did a handstand!  the secret is finding the right amount of kick, so in other words PRACTICE.  I`ll post as soon as I can!

Oh my goodness my baby brother is so cute! I was holding him and brushing my hair and afterwards he wanted the brush and he totally started brushing my hair! Look forward to some posts about gymnastics later today or tomorrow!

Sorry I was gone so long I plan to start doing some more posts soon you`ll see I updated my lists so check them out!  Also look up joshua in the old testament because he is AWESOME!  Bye!

I GOT A LETTER FROM THE PRODUCER!!

So one of my favorite creating apps was not working on my tablet and my mom suggested I should write a formal letter to the company and see if they would respond.  I formatted my letter just like I've been learning in Language Arts and I then mom helped me research on the internet who to send it to.  We finally found out that app, Sandbox, was made by Pixowl Inc.  Just about 10 days after I sent my letter I got one in return from the Co-Founder and Producer of the App!  He even sent some stickers and fun stuff.  It was cool to get an actual response from a producer of an app! Here's what he said, he wrote it in pen, but I'm just going to type it here.

Dear Avonleah Betts,
We have received your letter on April 22, 2014 and are impressed by your writing!  My name is Sebastien Borget, I am co-founder at Pixowl and also game producer on the Sandboc.
I was really pleased that you took the time to write us on how much you like our game and thank you for that!  You will find with this letter a few gifts, that we hope will make you happy!
Did you try to reinstall the game on you Asus Memo tablet?  we tested internally, it should run on Android 6.3.  For faster support, please email me at seb@pixowl.com and I will do my best to help!  We wish you can play again soon!

Books I've read lately that are really awesome

I've read lots and lots of amazing books lately, here's a few I recommend:

1. Atlantis Rises by T. A. Barron - Full of action, adventure and mystery
2. The Work and the Glory by Gerald Lund - #1-#4 (I still have 5 to finish in this series)Fun historical fiction/nonfiction, it is a fun way to learn about Church History
3. Calvin & Hobbes: The Complete Collection by Bill Watterson - These are the funniest cartoon books ever, Calvin is ridiculous
4. Spirit Animals Book 1: Born Wild by Brandon Mull - I love the idea of having a bond with a spirit animal that you must discover, I think if I had a spirit animal it would be a jaguar
5. Seven Wonders Book 1: Colossus Rises by Peter Larangis - kind of like Percy Jackson and Indiana Jones mixed together!
6. The Heroes of Olympus: Books 1-3 by Rick Riordan - the Greek and Roman Demigods have to work together to defeat the giants released by Mother Earth.  I love Greek and Roman mythology
7. The Penderwicks Book 1 - by Jeanne Birdsall- summertime magic, a tame rabbit and a treasure filled attic make this a fun book to read
8. Tattoo of Death : Choose Your own Adventure by R.A. Montgomery - I love choose your own adventure books because you get to choose your own fate and if you make a wrong choice you can go back and alter the course of the entire story.

Chapter 2 (well the start of chapter 2)

There were some shells on the beach, and I love to collect shells, so I picked one up.  Suddenly I felt a sharp pain the hand that was holding the shell!  I looked at hermit-crab like creature with nine, no 10 eyes!  He was purple with green stripes, and that was sort of weird, so I put it down.  Besides, it pinched me!  I decided to explore my little island a bit, and when I peered behind a palm tree, I saw the most repulsive creature ever.  It had the head of a black beetle, but the body was a man's body!  I froze.  It had seen me!  What was I going to do?
